Here is a recent letter from two more satisfied Island Adventure Tour sea kayaking participants:
Dear Jeff, Liz and John,
Our recent visit with you was one of the most pleasant trips we have ever enjoyed. Your hospitality, attention to detail and constant view to guest comfort and safety were overwhelming. Never before have we seen hosts with such courtesy, competence and organizational skills. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived.
You recall that we went to Tyee for sea kayaking along the coast. From the minute that we did our first skill assessment until we had finished our trip, you showed how important was safety afloat. John’s knowledge of local waters and his judgment were amazing.
You are aware that we are providers of special event food services, etc. As such, we compliment you on your menus. Variety, freshness, quantities & presentation were all that anyone could wish.
It will be some time before we forget our evenings in the hot tub watching the sail boats flow by and the tremendous skills that you employed in making our trip so special. We look forward to seeing you again.
Sincerely,
Gary Hendin & Lisa Staton
This one is from a whale watching participant:
Dear Jeff,
Thanks for getting us out on another boat. We got a really good look at a group of three transient orca
that were in the area. We both really enjoyed it, and following on the back of the bears we saw the day before, I think our trip to Victoria was the highlight of our holiday to Canada.
Thanks again for all your help, and for speaking to the whale watchers about taking us out again, I really appreciate it. If I meet anyone who's heading to Vancouver Island I'll have no hesitation in pointing them in your direction.
I feel sure we'll be back in BC sometime in the future, it's a great place,
and personally I felt quite at home there.
Good luck for the future,
Russ Gibbs
Sooke Hiking participant:
Hello there Jeff,
My wife Nancy and I spent a day in June with you and your student hiking in Sooke. You picked us up at the Regent. As we were cutting across the park from Cabin Point to the parking lot we heard a couple of screech owls. You hadn't seen them before and seemed interested as to whether or not the photo would turn out. It turned out pretty good and I just bought a scanner so here you go! [See photo - click here now] We got many fantastic shots of the coast too.
Thanks again for a great time. Martin Gordon
P.S.Great lunch, can't find maple smoked salmon anywhere out here in Ontario.
