| FAQ and Answers 1) What size of groups are these tours? They are generally small groups of 6 - 7 people.
2) Do these tours include a pick-up from my hotel? Yes. From downtown Victoria hotels and B&B`s. 3) Which kind of accommodation is included in those tours? Generally we stay in waterfront lodges, rooms always have private baths. 4) How much money do I need for the food? Food is generally included. For Self- guided tours you should allow $25- $50 a day. 5) How difficult are these tours? Moderate fitness levels are required as we do some walking and outdoor activities each day. People who are reasonably fit can partake in most activities. 6) Do I have free-time during these trips? Yes, most days from the late afternoon until dinner there is some time for exploring on your own. Evenings are often free.
7) How old are the people in your groups? They are generally between 30- 55. It is a mixture of single and couples. 8) Do I need to make a reservation? Reservations are recommended by calling 250.812.7103. Some day- trips may only require a few days notice. We take a 50% deposit to reserve a spot. 9) Do I need special equipment for an outdoor- trip? You should be dressed in layers in loose-fitting clothing. A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain-gear and good footwear is also recommended. 10) On your web-site you only have prices for double bedrooms. But how much would it be for only one person? In most cases we have a single-supplement or we can try to match you up with an appropriate room-mate. | |
