Sample OptionsA) West Coast Corporate Adventure Eco-Challenge Your adventure starts at 9 a.m.. You are picked up from your hotel and taken to the Galloping Goose Trail. After a traditional Westcoast Native Welcome your group is divided into clans, or teams. The Ravens, Killer Whales, Eagles, Grizzly Bears and Wolves are now ready to start their challenge. Each team is given an assortment of bikes, roller blades, scooters and other modes of transportation and must make their way down the paved trail to Checkpoint 1. Here they must assemble their raft and paddle down the Gorge inlet to Checkpoint 2. The teams then paddle back to the Inner Harbour with tasks along the way. The groups then unload from the rafts and make their way to a designated meeting spot for lunch and a debriefing. Focus on creative thinking, team work and overcoming obstacles. Adventure Level - activities require only moderate fitness levels, option for shuttle transport is available to any people that cannot complete the challenge. Distance is approximately 1 mile bike/blade, 1 mile paddle and .5 mile walk. Length: 5 hours (9 a.m. -2p.m.) or (noon - 5 p.m.)
West Coast Marine Adventure Tour Your adventure tour starts at 9 a.m. when our bus picks your group up from the hotel. We make our way to Brentwood Bay where we board a 47 foot Native Whaling Canoe. Our destination is a 84 foot ship anchored in Saanich Inlet. Here we BBQ salmon for lunch and use the vessel as our base camp for further marine adventures such as kayaking and canoeing. We then paddle to Butchart Gardens from the water and make our way through the gardens. Focus on teamwork, fun and inspiration. Adventure level - activities require only a short optional paddle in a canoe, kayak or double kayak. There will be time for a short stroll through the gardens through the "back entrance" or from the water. A full lunch is supplied and time to rest after. Length: 5 hours ( 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) or can start at (12 noon - 5 p.m.)
Rainforest Adventure Challenge Your adventure starts at 1 p.m. when our bus picks your group at your hotel. We depart for Goldstream Park. We divide into clans and are given our instructions and maps. Within a thriving rainforest that features 1,000 year old giant trees, a scavenger hunt begins. The stream is filled with spawning salmon and eagles swoop down to feast on them. The cycle of life is happening right before your eyes. All items scavenged have an ecological aspect and a few require some teamwork to acquire. One item lies on the top of Mt. Finlayson (50 minute vertical hike up and 20 minutes down). Each clan has to elect one member to accomplish this while they gather the other, more easily obtained items. The rainforest gets dark early so we finish our hunt by 4 p.m. and head back to Victoria. Focus - teamwork, adventure, and competition. Adventure level- 1 member of each team needs to be in reasonable condition to scale Mt. Finlayson. The rest of the people will be walking through the rainforest, mostly on trails, at a moderate pace. Good footwear is required (i.e. flat soled, walking or running shoes). Length: 4 hours (1 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
